On a 15-acre plot of vacant land in 2017, Ijme and Ami broke ground and started building the farm and the Farm School you see there today.
Ijme has farmed and worked with cattle his whole life. So, beef is at the heart of what the farm produces for the local community. The beef herd quickly outgrew the 15-acre property. They were moved six miles down the road, to a 150 acre farm where they are grass-finished using rotational grazing management practices and hay produced on the farm.
Our mission is to produce and sell premium grass-finished beef, using regenerative farming practices and committing to the highest standards of animal welfare and product excellence.
Ijme has always been a farmer.
I have always been a teacher.
It hasn't been possible for us to do or be anything else.
Providing healthy food for people, prioritizing animal care and the environment, and providing much-needed agriculture-based education is all crucially essentail work. And It is important to us that we do this work the best we are able.
We pour ourselves into our farm and our Farm School every moment of every day.
We love it.
We want to be doing it.
It is our hobby, our business, and our passion.
We are truly grateful that we have this life.
