With a lifetime of experience in dairy farming and working with cattle, Ijme’s passion for beef production has always been at the core of everything we do. As the beef herd quickly outgrew the original property, it was moved six miles down the road to a 150-acre farm. There, the cattle are raised sustainably, grass-finished through rotational grazing, and fed through the winter with hay that was grown from the same land.
Our mission is to produce and sell delicious grass-finished beef, using regenerative farming practices and committing to the highest standards of animal welfare.
Ijme has always been a farmer.
I have always been a teacher.
It hasn't been possible for us to do or be anything else.
Providing healthy food for people, prioritizing animal care and the environment, and providing much-needed opportunities for people to connect to agriculture is work we see as crucially important.
We pour ourselves into
our farm every day.
