In 2017, Ijme and Ami transformed a vacant 15-acre plot of land into the thriving farm—and Farm School—you see today.
With a lifetime of experience in farming and cattle, Ijme’s passion for beef production has always been at the core of their work. As the beef herd quickly outgrew the original property, it was moved six miles down the road to a 150-acre farm. There, the cattle are raised sustainably, grass-finished through rotational grazing, and fed hay grown on-site.
Our mission is to produce and sell premium grass-finished beef, using regenerative farming practices and committing to the highest standards of animal welfare and product excellence.
Ijme has always been a farmer.
I have always been a teacher.
It hasn't been possible for us to do or be anything else.
Providing healthy food for people, prioritizing animal care and the environment, and providing much-needed agriculture-based education is all crucially essentail work. And It is important to us that we do this work the best we are able.
We pour ourselves into our farm and our Farm School every moment of every day.
We love it.
We want to be doing it.
It is our hobby, our business, and our passion.
We are truly grateful that we have this life.
